Waterless Urinal Installation
The following information relates to installation of Waterless urinals in new and retrofit situations. Most US Plumbing Codes require urinals to be installed so that the lip of urinal to floor height is 24" (610 mm) (situation A), and for ADA installations 17" (430 mm) urinal lip to floor (situation B).
Recommended rough-ins for Waterless urinals Model 2003 and 2004: - Situation A: 15.0" (381 mm) from floor.
- Situation B: 7.7" (196 mm) from floor.
Waterless urinals install like any conventional urinal fixture. Each urinal
comes with the necessary hardware plus 2 EcoTraps®. In most retrofit
situations, you can use the existing flange from the conventional urinal to
install the Waterless urinal. Saves time!Approximate installation times are: - Retrofit, rough-in no higher than 16" (406 mm) : 45 - 60 minutes
- Retrofit, rough-in higher than 16" (406 mm): 90 -120 minutes
- New Installation, with appropriate rough-in height: 15 minutes
